Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!


Saint Patrick’s Day is an Irish National holiday but it is also celebrated in the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.


Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. He is known for introducing Christianity to Ireland. He died on the 17th March, which is when Saint Patrick’s Day is celebrated every year.




People wear green and take part in special parades on Saint Patrick’s Day.




Traditionally, bacon and cabbage is eaten on St. Patrick’s Day.




Leprechauns, snakes and shamrocks are all symbols of St. Patrick’s Day.
